Knowledge-Mint Results
Knowledge-Mint's first site, www.starofyourownlife.com, was built for our very own James M. Lynch. The site has two primary goals:
- Bring James' unique coaching approach to the Web and to the attention of as many potential clients as possible.
- Market his upcoming book, The Hamlet Secret: A self-directed (Shakespearean) workbook for living a passionate, joy-filled life to as wide an audience as possible
The site was launched on April 4, 2009. After the launch, Knowledge-Mint engaged in a small PR and inbound link campaign to attract attention and keep that attention coming.
The results? Within three weeks:
- Our keywords led to Star of Your Own Life appearing on the first page of natural search results:
- UPDATE on 5/27/2009 - at position 5 (out of 51,800,000 search results)
- at position 1 (out of 2,050,000 search results)
- at position 6 (out of 926,000 search results)
- at position 9 (out of 104,000 search results)
- James has begun a column at the Huffington Post aimed at garnering an audience for his coaching methods and traffic for his site (James M. Lynch).
Since the launch, James has begun to twitter and has a number of follwers already.
As a secondary goal, James would like to monetize the growing traffic to his site. Currently, he has book links to Amazon for which he can earn money for each book purchased. He also plans to add a "Swag" store that sells t-shirts, hats, mugs and more. UPDATE on 6/11/2009: James' shop is up and running!
